We chose pollution because of how largely it is affecting our environment, especially with the increase of human consumption in these modern times. With the 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic that are currently in the ocean, more than 100,000 marine animals are dying each year from our waste. Turtles are one of these species that are highly affected by pollution, as 100% of turtles found in the recent year had ingested some sort of plastic.
